I Pazzi Restaurant ****

Tonight I ate dinner at the I Pazzi Italian Mediterranean Cuisine in Danvers. A bit empty, but then again, it's a Monday night and they just opened on Saturday. Now under new management, I Pazzi was formly Luciano's. My understanding is they are producing their own line of wine to go with their creations! Can't wait!

I ate the Linguine Putan and my date had the Chicken in Padella! For dessert, the creme brulle and fruit mousse, chef and owner, Arbana's creation - a definite MUST order! Check it out on a Friday or Saturday night!

The Bad:
I really didn't find much of anything wrong at I Pazzi. If I had to find something it would be the slightly higher than average prices, but that's nothing to be concerned about when reflecting on the decor, food presentation and taste
The Good:
The fruit mousse is a notch above the creme brulee - one of my all time favorite desserts! Try them both!
Attentive wait staff! Thank you Annie G! Also had the owners/chefs, Tani & Arbana Maurizio visit my table to see how things were - nice touch.
The decor along with the other details, such as the calla lilly on each table and Italian music playing, added to the ambience
Cuisine is strictly Italian...versus Italian-American
Dishes are prepared with such care and presentation! They were beautifully displayed, so much so, I wanted to take pictures rather than eat!
Price: $14-$30 for entrées

Date rate: great for a 1st or any other date or special occasion.
Overall Value: 4 Stars!

I PAZZI was a definite plus for me. They served homeade bread made differently each day with a plate of (your choice) oil, vinegar, parmesan, and or hot pepper flakes. Very pleasing service, they were very welcoming and kind. I had the linguini putan also and my husand had the risotto. If I may say, I LOVED it. It was as simple as that. Prices were a bit above average, but it was definitely worth the taste and presentation. I tried the panna cotta and my husband had the chocolate mousse. I think the panna cotta won over my mouth, My husband couldn't agree but they were both mouth-watering, well-prepared, and kept me asking for more. Luciano's was great but I think I Pazzi was the best replacement. I will definitely be coming back for more. I would give it 4 1/2 stars, its great for special occasions and even just a night out! :)
