Century House Restaurant ****

This old staple in Peabody's is known for great food! Interestingly, a couple years back I helped a friend and his company do the cleaning at 5 AM! I remember getting up at 4 AM and getting myself there to vacuum the entire place. Who said I'm not a hard worker? Anyhow, we decided to get there with a coupon (of course) and order some of there grub.

We got the 1/2 roasted stuffed chicken ($12.95) the catch of the day: char broiled catfish in herb butter ($11.95) and one soda ($2.49). They also served us sweet pecan roll with honey butter - awesome!

Cuisine: American, Traditional

Ambience: Casual

The Good:
Parking: Free lot - plenty of space
Service: Excellent and attentive
Portions: Somewhat large
Handicap accessible: Yes
People: Mostly older
Price: Get the special before 5 PM, otherwise an entree is $10-$15

The Bad:
Tables: bit close to each other
Volume: Noise level was quite high

Date Rate: I'm impressed!

Overall Value: 4
